A calm in the storm!
It’s that time again, as I sit here typing we are on the edge of a storm & that’s enough storm references for tonight… But it can only mean we are about to release our compat patch for 3.13 Cosmic Storms.
I think it is fair to say there are not many changes within this update that we really had to encorporate, we have provided a bit of a Trek flavour to the storms and added to Trek Storms (DS9:Invasive Procedures and ENT:The Catwalk come to mind) however we really wanted to focus on features that the communty have been shouting for, so we’ve opted to pack this update with some of the more heavily requested community suggestions!
Federation Integration Process – as much as I loved the old mechanic, the new situation mechanic offers greater flexibility and scope for new events and control over how new worlds are brought in, I’ve mentioned previously our desire to use the situation mechanic as a more performant option and this is another chance for it to shine!
Advanced Diplomacy – creating a central place to reach out to all the agencies and advanced features, including Q was a much requested quality of life improvement.
Remove the Borg – Not a feature I really liked, but having seen the feedback the option to remove the Borg from your playthrough made the cut.
Scientific Deep Space Stations -The military stations have been an enjoyed feature, so it made sense to add an equivalent option for your scientists
All of this and more will be coming as part of our next patch, so please keep making suggestions and working with us to help make STNH the best Trek experience.
